Cold Plates

A plate (usually aluminum) containing internal tubing through which cooling is provided, to absorb heat transferred to the plate by transistors and other components mounted on it.

Liquid Cold Plate

A cold plate that utilizes pumped liquid to provide the internal cooling necessary to remove the heat that has been transferred to the plate.
